Vertical Pole Studio fitness classes are designed for everyone, regardless of age, shape or fitness level. You’ll receive a total body workout, while dancing that will leave you feeling empowered as you work toward your fitness goals. Get stronger and build confidence! We offer classes that let you focus on what you most want to get out of the instruction, whether it’s dance or fitness. Whichever class you choose, you’ll get a workout unlike anything else you’ve tried.

If you have never taken a pole dance class, this is the pole class for you. This class includes a warm-up, core strengthening, and a cool-down with flexibility stretches. In this pole class you will learn the fundamentals of pole dance technique & strength training. From walking around the pole, to basic spins and floor work you will walk away with all you need to join our beginner level classes. The class will highlight body alignment, and confidence-building through body awareness and technique. This class is designed to introduce students to the pole and to the range of moves that can be performed with time and practice. Attention is also given to building upper body strength and flexibility all of which contribute to gaining pole skills. You can see for yourself what everyone else talking about! It will definitely leave you wanting more.
Once you’ve taken Pole INTRO and passed all the requirements, move on to Pole 1! In this pole class you will start to prepare for inversions, focusing on good form and working on strengthening both sides for all moves. You must complete the Pole INTRO checklist to move into Pole 1 . In this pole class you will take what you’ve learned in your Pole INTRO classes and bring it to the next level. This pole class was created to teach you everything you need to know in order to progress to our Level 2 classes. You won’t only have a great time but you will get an amazing cardio and strength training full body work out. Learn how to spin, climb, and move smoothly up and down and all around the pole and build your strength to prepare you for inversions.
After Pole 1, challenge yourself with this intermediate level class. Here you will learn inverted moves and work on putting moves together in combinations. Only for students who have completed Pole 1 checklist and can demonstrate the required moves. If you have had prior training in a different facility you must get approval by an instructor to take this class, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You will learn more pole tricks including pole climbs, intermediate spins, and basic inverts and how to link them all together in a seamless, fluid routine. Students will strengthen and polish tricks and spins already learned in the beginner levels. This pole class includes warm-up, core strengthening, and a cool-down with flexibility stretches. The instructor will also work independently with students to master pole spins, turns, climbs, and inverts at their own pace and as their experience allows.
Advanced pole, here you come! This pole class will focus on strength and flexibility, learning advanced moves and putting together longer and more complicated combinations. Only for students who have completed Level 2 checklist and can demonstrate the required moves. POLE CLIMB & BASIC INVERT
This class is great for Level 1 and above! The format is specially designed for students to learn all the core fundamentals of climbing and inversions. You will experience a variety of climbs, basic inversions, mounts, inverted bracket holds and more. Not climbing or inverting yet? NO PROBLEM! Specific conditioning moves are taught to get you upside down in no time flat!
For Level 2 and above students only. Once you have a solid foundation, in your basic climbs and inversions, it time to take it to the next level. Gettin' Tricky is for students ready to challenge themselves with more complex tricks and transitions using spinning and stactic pole. This a great class for those interested in competitions or those just wanting to increase the "WOW" factor in their pole repertoire. Instructor approval is required to move up to this class.
For Level 3 and above students only. You want them, we’re gonna give it to ya! Tricks, Tricks and more Tricks Baby! Warning!! This class will give you the pole skills to leave your audience in awe and amazement! Guaranteed...this class will help you become more creative with your pole tricks, transitions and flow. This class will simply break down pole combos and tricks that you see in pole competitions and popular with the hottest poles stars in the pole community. If you want to learn to pole like the champions, YOU WILL WANT TO stay dedicated and committed to your Pole & Flexibility classes to reach this level. Instructor approval is required to move up to this class.
Come and practice your pole & aerial moves in the studio. $25 for non-members $10 for Monthly Members or Unlimited Members. Recommend skills: A minimum of 6 weeks or prior pole instruction or instructor approval.
Open Training sessions are for anyone that would like to have additional non-instructor led studio time. Open pole & aerial allows extra studio time for students to practice what they have learned and mastered in class. It can also serve as extra time to dance or film what you have learned. No pole inverting, top of the lyra movement or silks drops are allowed without prior instructor approval. No pole tricks, aerial tricks, sequences or transitions will be allowed without approval from an instructor. This is for movement you have learned in class and are working to progress and master.
Students are not allowed to instruct other students. A crash mat will be used at all times when needed.
This is not a class, you will not be learning anything new.
